As a bride-to-be, I have been scouring blogs and studying magazines. Basically living and breathing everything Wedding for months. . . ok, ok, I admit it, it’s been over a year.
One of the topics I’m searching most for right now is centerpieces. Now, we all know weddings are romantic in nature, but I think that the décor of weddings should convey romance; and believe it or not, this is trickier than one would think. Lucky for me {and now for you} I found the solution. . . LACE!
Here at fêtette, we are obsessed with mason jars, so it should come as no surprise that they will be part of my wedding. These lace covered mason jars are shabby chic, vintage-inspired and basically ooze romance. Best of all, they can be reused, or given away as gifts for your special guests. And if you don’t like mason jars {we won’t hold it against you. . . for too long} you can easily wrap and glue lace around clear glass vases or candle holders.
Personal touches, such as this one with a silk flower and vintage brooch, add that extra je ne sais quoi to your special day! Now I just have to decide if they’ll be featured at my cocktail hour—by grouping a few together on the tables with or without candles—or possibly placing 2 peonies in each them for my centerpieces. Decisions! Decisions!

LOVE the lace on the jars! It makes it so romantic
You should start a line of lace-covered mason jars when you launch your store. You can call them Lace-on Jars :)
I am so pleased that you like my vintage votives, but the photo at the top is not linked to my blog (annabooshouse@blogspot.com). I'm sure it's just an oversight, but could you please could you rectify this?
Many thanks.
Apologies, you are correct in it being an oversight. Fixed! Thanks, we love your blog!
Those jars are tremendously beautiful.. Adding laces on it makes the entire decorations perfect and elegant!
