Ashley and I found adorable Nutter Butter flip flop cookies while researching beach tablescapes for my Uncle’s Island Vacation Birthday Party. I decorated mine with whipped white frosting and over-sized sprinkles. We served them in dishes with a little frosting laid down directly to the plate then covered in brown sugar to look like sand. They ended up being more time consuming than I expected but they were SO CUTE!
I mixed the frosting with four different food colors. Spreading the frosting on the flip flops and keeping a nice, flat surface (within the borders) was the most time consuming part. To save time, just pipe the straps straight onto the Nutter Butters. My aunt had cute over-sized sprinkles that added a pop of color. I made them a couple nights before and stored them in air tight containers in the fridge. The frosting hardened by the party to the perfect consistency.

Enjoy! {xo celine}
